Superman (1978): $134.2 million, domestic box office. Adjusted for inflation: $472.9 million. Batman (1989): $251.1 million, domestic box office. Adjusted for inflation: $464.9 million. The Avengers (2012): $1.5 billion, worldwide box office. Incomparable Man: -$5, domestic box office.
Okay, that’s not even fair. I don’t see you subtracting those other movies’ budgets from their totals.
If I subtract The Avengers’ $220 million production budget, it still out-earned your pitiful movie by an incalculable percentage. Humans are frothing at the mouth for superhero content. Plastering a costumed vigilante on a movie poster gives the producer a license to print money. Leave it to you to fail at the most lucrative film genre of all time.
Success isn’t always about money, ROBO.
What is it about, then? Crossing the 140 view mark on youtube?
Sometimes… I wish you understood feelings.
